Terms of service

These terms govern your use of the Dilectus website and services, operated by AD Ventures (Dilectus) (“Dilectus”, “we”, “us”). By using Dilectus, you agree to them.

If your company has signed a Dilectus service agreement, that agreement governs our services to you and takes precedence over these terms wherever the two differ.

We offer employers three ways to hire:

• Self-Service Platform — You do everything, we provide the tools.
• ATS + Human Pre-Screening — We filter, you review a ready-made shortlist.
• Recruitment-as-a-Service — We source, screen, and deliver candidates.

We also run a public job board, a resume checker and a resume builder. Our services are always free for candidates.

• Give us accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account, including by team members you invite.
• We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put other users at risk.

• Your job postings must be accurate and lawful, and must not discriminate unlawfully.
• Use candidate information only to evaluate candidates for the roles they applied for, and handle it in line with applicable data-protection law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
• Hiring decisions are yours. Our scores and shortlists support those decisions; they do not make them.

• Give accurate information in your applications and resume.
• When you apply for a role, your application is shared with the company that posted it.
• We cannot guarantee interviews or job offers; those decisions are made by the hiring company.

• Plan prices are listed on our pricing page. They exclude GST, which is added at checkout and shown on your tax invoice.
• Plans don't renew automatically unless you switch auto-renewal on in the client portal. Renewal payments are processed through Razorpay.
• Recruitment-as-a-Service fees are charged on a successful hire, as set out in your service agreement.
• Cancellations and refunds follow our refunds & cancellations policy.

Don't misuse Dilectus: no scraping or bulk downloading, no false or misleading information, no attempts to break or bypass our security, and no unsolicited messages to people you find through the service.

Some features use AI to score and analyse resumes and to generate questions and guidance. These outputs are advisory and can be wrong. See our privacy policy for how this processing works.

The Dilectus platform and its content belong to us. Content you provide — such as job postings and resumes — remains yours; you allow us to use it to provide and improve the service.

We work to keep Dilectus available and accurate, but we provide it “as is” and do not guarantee particular hiring outcomes. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses. For clients, our responsibilities and liability are set out in your service agreement.
